Smiles all round.

You told me to give it a listen, and im glad that I did. I was thinking Final Fantasy Seven about 64 bars in. The music in that game is ace. Same sort of synth sounds and chord structures. While I was listening to the tune I was trying to predict where it was going to break,and it didn't. I was expecting more layers of synth to come in. Maybe look into writing some counter melodies further into the tune. The drums are good and the variations in patterns are quality. Very good effort.

Solid effort

This tune has potential. I think it could do with a little more of a bass kick to add extra presence.The melody is nice but could do with an extra layer of melody, possibly in a lower octave to build it up.

On the whole though, very solid effort mate.

The guitar melody? There is an extra layer--there's a bass synth in there that diverges/coincides with the guitar. Nonetheless, I'll try out your tips.
